IQ Berries is a new breeding program from Australia that specializes in Southern Highbush blueberries.

All the IQB varieties are selected for the same consistent characteristics of large size, sweet taste, crisp “pop” texture, good bloom and good coloration. IQB believes that blueberries need to both look great and taste great.

IQ Berries is directed by Peter Rolfe and Danny Francis. Peter is the owner and geneticist who develops all the varieties on the program. He has over 30 years of experience in blueberries and is based in Queensland, Australia, where he carries out the breeding and a small production field of his own varieties. Danny handles the commercial area of IQB. He has over 10 years of experience in blueberries where he has managed global licensing deals and set up Pop Worldwide in the UK where he was General Manager.
